The pressure to profit commercially in a highly competitive world often means that expediency drives the agenda without any particular ethical considerations except those that ‘happen’ to be unavoidable.

Yet the issue of sustainability and the broadest ethical considerations in our world are being embraced by an ever increasing number of companies who are farsighted enough to realise the necessity of caring about what is to come before it is forced upon them. They know, that if it is allowed to go that far, it will cause unnecessary damage to their business, customers and staff.
